Perfecting the Sales ScriptThis week, the Bowery Capital team hosted Nick Romito, the Founder and CEO of VTS, to discuss “Perfecting the Sales Script”. VTS is an asset management and leasing platform built to provide real-time portfolio analytics to the top landlords and brokerage firms in the world. VTS allows brokers and owners to manage deal activity, identify trends and quantify portfolio performance from their desktop or mobile device. In this episode of the Bowery Capital Startup Sales Podcast, we dig in with Nick on developing the sales script, training your sales team on the script, and modifying it over time to ensure you’re staying ahead of your competition. We cover some of the necessary components of the script and also some topics to avoid (competition!).

Before launching VTS, Nick worked as a commercial broker and tenant and landlord representative for Murray Hill Properties and AM Properties. Realizing there were no technology platforms to help centralize leasing activity, analytics, and marketing, Nick started working on VTS. In the early days of VTS, Nick was the only sales person, making cold calls, knocking on doors and pitching his idea with an iPad in hand. He wrote the initial sales script for them and has been iterating on it ever since. It seemed only appropriate to have Nick on the show to talk to us about perfecting the sales script!
